Michele Ramo’s World Jazz Orchestra will be performing Sunday, December 10, 3-4:30 PM at St. Bonaventure’s Monastery Chapel, 1780 Mt. Elliott St., Detroit.
Multi-Instrumentalist Michele Ramo, renowned classical composer and winner of 2016 Outstanding World Jazz Orchestra & Outstanding Classical Composer for Detroit Music Awards, has performed at major jazz festivals throughout Europe, Canada, and the USA (including Carnegie Hall). Michele has recorded over 21 CDs and has published three publications on classical jazz guitar.
Members of the World Jazz Orchestra include Michele Ramo (8 String Guitar, Violin & Mandolin), vocalist Heidi Hepler-Ramo, Dominic Lombardi (Tenor & Soprano Sax), Cary Kocher (Vibraphone), Christa Grix (Harp), Cliff Monear (Piano), Michael Palazzolo (Contrabass), Kayvon Gordon (Drums & Percussion). Also appearing will be Justine Santoro (Piano) and vocalist Anna Santoro.
